Laboratory Technician - Molecular Diagnostics
Cambridge Science Park | Full-time | On-site

Are you passionate about molecular biology and ready to take your lab skills to the next level? Join a fast-growing diagnostics team making real impact in patient care. We're on the lookout for a proactive, detail-driven Laboratory Technician to support vital diagnostic testing in our modern Cambridge lab.

What you'll do:
  1. Perform molecular techniques (DNA/RNA extraction, PCR, qPCR, immunoassays)
  2. Handle clinical samples with care and precision
  3. Ensure data accuracy, quality control, and lab compliance
  4. Collaborate with a supportive, experienced team
  5. Maintain equipment and contribute to a safe, well-organised lab environment
What we're looking for:
  1. A degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
  2. Strong understanding of molecular biology principles
  3. Previous lab experience - especially in diagnostics or clinical settings
  4. A team player with excellent attention to detail and a love for problem-solving
