What you will do Assess and treat patients by prescribing, designing, and fitting external braces and supports to improve mobility, reduce pain, and correct or manage physical conditions. Collaborate with a wider team of healthcare professionals to support patient rehabilitation and foster independence. Conduct thorough evaluations and maintain meticulous patient records to ensure the best outcomes. Provide education and guidance to patients and their families about the use and care of orthotic devices. Requirements Qualifications: BSc Honours Degree in Prosthetics and Orthotics or an equivalent recognised qualification. Registration: HCPC registration is essential for this role. Membership: Membership in the British Association of Prosthetists and Orthotists (BAPO) is required. Experience: Previous experience in a community setting is desirable to ensure effective service delivery.
