The Role: We are seeking Lecturers to teach across undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required. Your expertise can ignite a passion for learning. What you'll be doing: Enjoy all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment, keeping up-to-date with developments in your field and student support practices. Experience delivering core accounting modules such as Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Taxation and Audit is essential. Responsibilities: Plan, deliver and assess student work, ensuring learning outcomes are met. Develop, update and improve course materials. Use a variety of learning and teaching methods. Engage in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and administrative duties. Stay current with developments in your field and student support practices. Work towards objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression. About You: Hold a Master’s degree in Accounting and Finance from the UK or equivalent; PhD desirable. Previous UK HE lecturing experience in core accounting modules. Demonstrate extensive subject knowledge. Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback. Accurate reporting and thorough, organised student records. Work under pressure, plan and prioritise workload to meet deadlines. Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills. Work well with diverse groups. Desirable: Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification. Fully qualified from PSRBs such as ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, IFA.
