Job title: Graduate Digital Intelligence Wireless Engineer - (Physics, Maths, CompSci and EEE Graduates)Location: GuildfordWe offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however for this role you will be expected to attend your site 4-5 days per week.Salary: £34,000 + £2,000 Welcome BonusWhat you’ll be doing:Our team needs people with excellent problem-solving skills, enthusiasts for technology, who enjoy making things, understanding how stuff works and are motivated to deliver solutions that ultimately make a difference to the safety and security of the world in which we live.Opportunities include:Designing high performance electronics (digital/RF/analogue) for our productsManufacturing devices designed to operate in extreme environmentsCreating software and applications and GUIs (typically using C, C++, Java, Javascript or React)Creating FPGA-based digital signal processing applications (typically using VHDL)Developing software and/or firmware for a range of target devices including FPGAs, ARM processors, GPUs and microcontrollers (typically using VHDL or Verilog)Designing signal processing algorithmsMathematical modellingBenefits:As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing & lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.The Digital Intelligence Team:The Wireless Products Team.
