With a growing project portfolio, we are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team. About the Role This is a hands‑on, technically varied engineering role supporting the design, planning, and delivery of electrical projects. You will work alongside experienced supervisors, project managers and trades teams, contributing to electrical design, project coordination, equipment specification and site engineering tasks. The position offers a mix of office and site‑based involvement, with opportunities to build deep technical capability and progress toward senior engineering or project leadership roles. Key Responsibilities Interpret and review electrical drawings, specifications and relevant standards (AS/NZS 3000, PTA requirements) to support accurate and compliant project delivery Assist in the planning, scheduling and coordination of electrical installations, including switchboards, cabling, earthing, GPOs, lighting and fire protection systems Prepare and maintain project documentation such as ITPs, O&M manuals, inspection procedures and user training plans Support project managers and supervisors in coordinating internal teams, subcontractors and client stakeholders Conduct on‑site inspections of electrical installations, ensuring compliance, quality and correct implementation of designs Troubleshoot design, installation and commissioning issues using strong analytical and problem‑solving skills Participate in commissioning activities and ensure documentation is completed to the required standards Assist with design tasks, including warning systems, equipment layouts, and electrical installation details, using AutoCAD and related tools Support procurement, equipment delivery coordination and inspection of switchboards and electrical devices Contribute to continuous improvement through accurate reporting, data analysis and technical feedback across ongoing projects About You A recognised degree in Electrical Engineering, with eligibility for Engineers Australia membership Practical experience supporting electrical installations, inspections and commissioning in commercial, industrial or infrastructure projects Strong ability to interpret electrical drawings, including SLDs, wiring diagrams, switchboard layouts, and power/lighting plans Solid understanding of AS/NZS 3000, wiring rules, PTA requirements and relevant project standards Experience preparing ITPs, O&M manuals, inspection procedures and technical reports Hands‑on exposure to inspecting switchboards, earthing systems, solar installations, cable containment, GPOs and lighting systems Proficiency in AutoCAD and confident in editing/marking up drawings using Bluebeam Strong documentation, reporting, and communication skills Proven ability to solve installation and design issues through analytical thinking and on‑site problem‑solving Ability to coordinate effectively with subcontractors, internal teams and client stakeholders Current WA driver’s licence and White Card Willingness to undergo pre‑employment medical and drug/alcohol screening Why Join TES Electrical Competitive salary aligned with skills and experience Diverse project exposure, including commercial fit‑outs, industrial facilities, automation and service projects Supportive team environment with mentorship from experienced engineers and supervisors Stable, long‑term role with a growing WA electrical contractor Please note, only successful applicants will be notified. #J-18808-Ljbffr
