Vestmark is looking for a motivated Software Engineer, Integrationwith Java integration and development experience to help develop and support interfaces between our applications and dozens of external systems. Join us in solving complex problems as a part of our Integration team You will be a key member of our team responsible for developing, implementing, and documenting solutions integrating applications across the VestmarkONE platform, its units/components/departments, and external systems. Your energy, enthusiasm, and technical curiosity, combined with your appreciation and support of our core values, will be leveraged to help us build the next generation of our wealth management applications. This position is expected to be Hybrid and based in our headquarters in Wakefield, MA. Please note, we are unable to sponsor an employment Visa for this role.Our team is made up of highly skilled software engineers, implementation specialists, business strategists, and visionaries who maintain an eye toward the future of financial technology.Responsibilities:Hands-on software development for applications within our VestmarkONE suite of financial services, including Portfolio Trading, VAST, Proposal Generation, and Investor PortalSupport the integration with external systems enabling millions of accounts to be loaded and traded dailyBuild and maintain features to match our expanding scale and performance requirementsCollaborate in a distributed environment working within an agile scrum teamPerform off-hour maintenance activities to ensure the continuous stability of our critical applications and systemsContribute to the growth and development of our core values: We Before Me, Positive Energy, Knowledge Explorer, and Own ItJob Qualifications:Skilled in Java, C# or equivalent object-oriented programming languageStrong algorithmic and object-oriented design skillsExtensive experience with SQL and Relational Databases such as SQL ServerExpertise in testing scalable systems using tools/frameworks such as JUnit/NUnit, Jasmine/Selenium, and JMeterStrong evaluation skills of components or systems to determineintegrationrequirementsExperience in object-relational mapping technologies such as Entity Framework Core or HibernateAbility to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of dutiesPreferred Qualifications:Experience with Apache Camel, and ServiceMix/KarafExperience with Spring Framework and Spring BootExperience building webservices/API using RESTExperience with AWS or similar cloud computing environmentsExperience with clustered application deploymentOpen-source enthusiast and ability to demonstrate use of it through POC's/ past projectsComfortable working as part of a globally distributed teamEducation and Experience:B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience2-5 years of hands-on experience developing and testing scalable enterprise applications using Java, C#, or equivalent object-oriented programing languagesVestmark is an equal opportunity employer.
