OverviewAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a CAMHS Practitioner to join the Neurodevelopmental CAMHS team in Cambridge. We work with children and young people with moderate to severe mental health disorders with coexisting ASD and ADHD, providing comprehensive assessment and intervention. The role is ideal for clinicians from a variety of backgrounds, including Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Arts Therapists, Teaching, Counselling or psychological therapy.ResponsibilitiesProvide specialist evidence‑based assessment and individual work to children and adolescents with mental health difficulties.Offer advice and consultation on young people’s psychological care to professional colleagues and staff from other agencies.Work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of trust and CAMHS policies and procedures.Deliver comprehensive mental health and diagnostic assessments, interpreting and integrating data from self‑report measures, rating scales, structured observations and semi‑structured interviews.Participate in the planning and delivery of evidence‑based therapeutic programmes (e.g., CBT and parenting programmes) on an individual and group basis.Use routine outcome monitoring to inform clinical practice through supervision and care planning.QualificationsFull UK driving licence and use of a vehicle for independent travel around the county.Professional licence or registration in a relevant therapeutic or occupational discipline.Experience with children and young people with neurodevelopmental needs, including ASD and ADHD.Knowledge of the use, interpretation and integration of a range of assessment data.Able to work under considerable pressure and autonomously within a multidisciplinary team.Equal OpportunitiesAs an equal opportunities employer, we encourage applications from all sectors of the community, particularly from under‑represented groups including disabled people and members of our ethnic minorities and LGBTQ+ communities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
