We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes worship and prayer — someone who can help shape the spiritual heartbeat of our church family. This is a brilliant opportunity to join us at an exciting time of growth, as we build teams, grow in depth and openness to the Spirit, and step into all God has for us.You’ll be responsible for leading and developing the worship and prayer life of St John’s, working closely with our vicar and wider team. That means not only leading sung worship on Sundays but also raising up musicians and worship leaders, overseeing technical teams, embedding rhythms of prayer in church life, and creating space for people to encounter God’s presence.We’re looking for someone who’s musically gifted, confident leading a band, and passionate about building others up. You’ll need to be creative, organised, teachable, and full of faith — someone who loves Jesus deeply and wants to help others do the same.This is a part-time role (14–21 hours/week), including Sundays and Tuesdays, with flexibility for the rest of the week. Some evening and weekend work will be needed around key events (like Christmas and Easter).
