Job Details Location: Tower Hamlets (near Stepney Green Station) Start Date: January 5th (trial sessions available prior to term end) Contract: Full‑time, long‑term Pay: £90–£115 per day (inclusive of holiday pay) Year Group: Year 2 Focus: One‑to‑one support – Communication & SEMH needs About the Role A friendly, forward‑thinking primary school is looking to appoint a committed Learning Support Assistant to provide one‑to‑one support for a Year 2 pupil with mixed communication and SEMH needs. Your role will involve guiding the child through emotional regulation, daily routines, early literacy engagement, and structured interventions recommended by the SENCO and external specialists. You will help the pupil build confidence, manage transitions, and access lessons in a calm and supported way. Responsibilities Support the child with emotional regulation and daily routines. Ideal Candidate Previous experience supporting SEND pupils, especially SEMH or communication needs. Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong rapport. Resilient, proactive, and confident delivering small‑step learning tasks. Ability to work collaboratively with class staff and follow guidance.
