MacKenzie Kingare recruiting an Assistant Accountant on a 6-Month Fixed Term Contract , for an evolving business based in Ipswich. As an Assistant Accountant , you will be key in assisting the wider finance team with the production of monthly management accounts and reconciliations of control accounts in a timely manner and helping to maintain business as usual. You will be responsible for a wide range of reconciliations, assisting with monthly bank reporting, VAT returns, and sales and margin report analysis. In addition to this there will be other ad-hoc tasks including requests from other areas of the business. Key tasks and responsibilities Weekly sales posting and reporting Weekly payroll costs, journals and analysis Prepare quarterly VAT returns Month end preparation of fixed assets, accruals, prepayments, accrued income, deferred income, intercompany movements, interest accruals Analysis of key P&L items, including overheads and staff costs Maintain monthly balance sheet reconciliations on work completed Complete finance review of weekly expenses Monthly bank recon... #J-18808-Ljbffr
