Rotherwood Education are currently recruiting for a dedicated Year 4 & 5 Class Teacher to join a friendly and welcoming primary school in Burnley. This is a mornings-only position, starting ASAP and will be ongoing.

Position Details:

Contract Type: Full time, ongoing until Easter

Daily Rate: £(Apply online only) per day

About the Role:

As the Year 4 & 5 Class Teacher, you’ll be responsible for delivering high-quality, engaging lessons each morning in a well-resourced and supportive environment. You will plan and teach across the Year 4 & 5 curriculum, support pupils of varying abilities, and contribute to the positive ethos of the school.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan and deliver creative and purposeful lessons to Year 4 and 5 pupils

* Create a positive and inclusive learning environment

* Support pupils’ academic and personal development

* Manage classroom behaviour effectively

* Work closely with teaching assistants and leadership to ensure continuity of learning

The Ideal Candidate Will:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

* Have recent KS2 teaching experience, ideally in Year 4 and 5

* Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and classroom skills

* Be confident in planning and delivering the national curriculum

* Be committed to supporting all pupils to achieve their potential
