Senior Research Nurse/AHP Join to apply for the Senior Research Nurse/AHP role at Buy A Boat Now Job Summary An opportunity has arisen within the Cancer Research and Development Team at Torbay Hospital. As a senior member of staff, you will lead high quality research delivery across a variety of clinical specialties. You will be responsible for recruiting patients into clinical trials and collecting the clinical data needed for research purposes. A key part of the role will be to liaise with all members of the multidisciplinary clinical team; therefore excellent interpersonal skills are essential. Main Duties Understand the clinical research team objectives and contribute to their achievement. Manage research performance and study timelines of relevant studies. Deliver a clinical trial portfolio relevant to the specialty. Provide care for research participants and use opportunities to offer health promotion and patient education. Work as part of the multidisciplinary team and contribute to the ongoing development of the department. Have an awareness of the income stream relevant to Clinical Trials and work within local and Trust-wide financial and budgetary guidelines. About Us The clinical research delivery team recruits participants from across the organisation into commercial and non-commercial clinical trials and research. We support research across a variety of clinical specialties and departments, working from study set‑up through to informed consent, trial treatments and interventions, and study follow‑up. We use a range of clinical database systems to ensure high‑quality data collection and we support the safe conduct of research in accordance with the Research Governance Framework and Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
