Hourly Personal Care Assistant for a Uni GraduateHourly Personal Care Assistant for a Uni Graduate role with Skook Management ConsultingWe are recruiting on behalf of a young gentleman who recently completed a degree in media and communication at the University of Chichester. Join his team of Personal Assistants to provide personal care and independent living support.Start: ASAPLocation: Northleach, Gloucestershire (GL54)Hours: 12‑hour shifts from 8am to 8pm or 8pm to 8amShifts: 4 or 5 per week (rota varies)Accommodation: Available for applicants outside Northleach if requestedPay: £14 per hourHolidays: 5.6 weeks pro‑rataDriving licence: Automatic UK licence required (must drive client’s vehicle)About the JobThis is a fantastic opportunity to make a positive difference in someone’s life. The client is a full‑time wheelchair user with Spinal Muscular Atrophy, enjoys travelling, festivals, cooking and films, and values independence.ResponsibilitiesPersonal care (showering, toileting, dressing)Social supportDaily living assistanceHousekeeping and domestic dutiesCommuting using the client’s adapted vehicle to visit different citiesCare experience is not required; full training will be provided.About Our ClientOur client is a young graduate named Jack who has Spinal Muscular Atrophy. He lives at home but will soon move to London for a Screenwriting MA.
