This position involves managing a portfolio of delegated claims arrangements, including onboarding, oversight, and operational performance, ensuring compliance with Sompo standards and local regulatory requirements, managing run-off portfolios, and facilitating the transition of claims handling to new arrangements.What You’ll DoLeading the end-to-end onboarding process for a portfolio of delegated claims handling arrangementsCollaborate with delegated underwriting, legal, and compliance teams to ensure that all agreements align with internal policies and regulatory requirementsSupport the Delegated Claims Manager in developing and implementing onboarding workflows to ensure a seamless integration of new delegated claims arrangementsConduct due diligence on delegated claims arrangementsEstablish reporting and data-sharing dashboard requirements with our delegated claims arrangementsFor a portfolio of delegated claims arrangements, act as the primary point of contact for ongoing oversightMonitor performance against agreed service levelsReview and analyze delegated claims data to identify trends, anomalies, or areas requiring improvementProvide regular performance feedback to delegated claims arrangements and escalate significant issues to the Delegated Claims ManagerSupport the Delegated Claims Manager in conducting a delegated claims risk assessment to determine and prioritize the annual audit scheduleWork closely with an external audit panel, ensuring our annual audit schedule is metFacilitate pre-audit assessments with claims and our external audit panelAttend audit fieldwork wrap-up meetings and ensure final reporting SLAs are metReview audit reports for quality and adherence to Sompo’s delegated claims audit scopeBe responsible for audit Key Stakeholder management and closing audit subjectivities, collaborating with delegated claims arrangements to address identified gaps or weaknesses.
