Job Description Wood are currently recruiting for a Principal Instrument Engineer to join our Harbour Energy Project on a Contract basis working outside IR35. Hybrid working will be required 3 days per week in Aberdeen office. Responsibilities Provide Instrument engineering support to the Client contract as required Execute assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures, client and project standards Originate and check Instrument engineering deliverables as required on Client Contract within budget and schedule Ensure self-awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives and industry technology developments and promote to direct reports Manage discipline CTR’s, provide input to estimates, proposals, plans and progress Develop calculation packages as required Perform site / client office visits if required Present and describe engineering solutions and concepts competently to both technical and non-technical audiences Organise, plan and coordinate own work and the resources assigned to a specific project Support quality & technical assurance activities as required Qualifications MSc, MEng or equivalent professional qualification or BSc, BEng or equivalent with some considerable experience or HNC / HND or equivalent with relevant considerable experience About Us Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering, helping to unlock solutions to critical challenges in energy and materials markets.
