YOUR MISSION AT VOI As the Team Lead, you will work under the Senior Team Lead and report directly to them. You will manage a team of Fleet Specialists and be responsible for ensuring a high quality of service for our users and cities. Your responsibilities include overseeing the efficient execution of tasks related to maintaining, repairing, transporting, and repositioning vehicles, as well as swapping batteries. You will divide your time between managerial duties—such as hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations for your team—and performing operational tasks, whether in the warehouse or in the field, based on the business needs of the site. Team Management: Conduct regular one‑on‑one meetings, performance reviews, coaching, and training of Fleet Specialists. Inventory Management: Oversee spare parts and battery inventory to ensure availability and optimal usage. Health & Safety: Ensure team members adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards, complete onboarding paperwork, and monitor mandatory training compliance. Incident Management: Record, follow up, and investigate incidents, ensuring adherence to workplace accident policies. Contractor Management: Support repairs and maintenance in the warehouse as required. 3PL Coordination: Daily contact with 3PL partners to ensure adherence to agreed procedures. Van Management: Support operational aspects of vans, including installation and removal of tracking devices. WHAT YOU NEED TO EMBARK 2+ years of previous work experience. Experience managing a team of people. A UK Full UK Driving Licence with a maximum of 6 points for minor offences and no major offences, and meeting the requirements for our e‑van insurance (you may need to drive one of our e‑vans occasionally). General understanding of digital work tools (MS‑Office, G‑Suite). JOB CONDITIONS Working days: 5 out of 7, weekly rotation – some weekends may be required. Working hours: Middle Shift.
