This is a unique opportunity to shape and lead media strategy for a global investment brand with strong international reach.About the Role of a Media Relations ManagerAs Media Relations Manager, you will manage and enhance the firm’s media presence across financial and general media outlets. You will foster strong relationships with journalists, analysts, and influencers, while crafting compelling narratives that position the firm as a trusted voice in private equity. Working closely with communications, marketing, and investor relations, you will ensure consistent messaging across all channels and markets.Key Responsibilities of a Media Relations ManagerDevelop and deliver a comprehensive media relations strategy aligned to business goals.Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media contacts across financial and mainstream platforms.Act as the primary contact for media inquiries, providing accurate and timely responses.Proactively pitch stories to secure high-quality coverage across UK and US markets.Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align messaging across communications and investor relations.Monitor industry coverage and trends, advising leadership with insights and recommendations.Organise media events, interviews, and press opportunities.Support crisis communications to protect and strengthen the firm’s reputation.Ideal CandidateProven media relations experience, ideally within financial services or private equity.Strong existing network of journalist relationships across financial and business media.Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail.Ability to translate complex topics into clear, engaging narratives.Proactive, results-driven, and comfortable working under pressure.Knowledge of the private equity sector and media landscape in both the UK and US.Why Apply?This is a senior opportunity to make an immediate impact in a global private equity firm.
