Qualified Social Worker, Duty and Assessment Team Pay rate £39 per hour Contract role We are recruiting for experienced Social Worker to work in a Duty and Assessment Team in Bury. Candidates must have more than 4 yrs exp in duty otherwise will not be considered at all. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day leadership and operational oversight of the Children’s First Partnership Hub (CFPH), including Early Help and MASH functions. Manage triage and screening of referrals, ensuring timely and evidence-based decision-making. Ensure statutory safeguarding duties are met in line with the Safeguarding Children’s Partnership threshold document. Lead multi-agency decision-making processes and ensure correct thresholds are applied. Supervise and support staff including Social Workers, CAROs, and Business Support Officers. Maintain high standards of information sharing and collaborative working with partner agencies. Champion strength-based and relationship-focused practice across the team. Provide management oversight of contact records and referrals, ensuring child-focused and safe decisions. Support quality assurance through audits and learning reviews.
