Job Description We are recruiting for a Trainee Food Safety and Health and Safety Compliance Auditor to work within the South West region, working as part of our Food Safety and Health and Safety Team. You will be taking a key role in driving standards of excellence, building strong relationships and leading by example as well as having the opportunity to build on your skills and knowledge through career development training. Key Responsibilities Undertaking Food Safety and Health and Safety compliance audits within Primary and Secondary sites to ensure Caterlink's policies and processes are being fully implemented and reporting your findings. Liaising with the Operations Team to ensure the findings are being actioned and signed off. Support of changes to food legislation or company policy implementation. Support for engaging and rolling out safety initiatives and information to meet the company’s expectations. Support the development of a strong safety culture. Ensure all required training is completed. The role will require occasional overnight stays. Qualifications Qualified to Level 2 in Food Safety and Health and Safety Demonstrate an understanding of what it means to drive a safety culture Professional approach to time, costs and working to deadlines Excellent communication skills Good organisational skills Experience of working in the catering sector desirable Must have full driving licence and own car An Enhanced DBS Disclosure and satisfactory references will be required for this role Additional Information £13.25 per hour Term-time only role working Monday-Friday – flexible working will be considered Monthly car allowance plus fuel costs reimbursed 33 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays Eligible to join our Workplace Pension Scheme with Aviva Fully expensed company laptop + mobile phone Virtual GP for you and your family (eligibility rules apply) Employee Discount Platform for savings on supermarkets, cinema, restaurants, holidays, family days out etc. Employee Assistance Program and Virtual GP benefits available free of charge for you and your family Blended learning programme including formal qualifications (Apprenticeships, classroom training, eLearning and on‑job training) to support and encourage development Opportunity to catch up and plan for the next term during school breaks, enabling a balance between business and personal planning #J-18808-Ljbffr
