GAP Pump Services provide advice, servicing, maintenance, and repair for dewatering and sewerage pump applications, including a large range of submersible pumps, control panels, cable / generators, hoses, settlement tanks, and water processing solutions. As a Submersible Pump Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in our regional success by ensuring that customers can hire the equipment they need, when they need it, through efficient servicing and maintenance of our fleet. As part of a high‑performing regional team, you will travel across our regional depots and customer sites to identify and repair faults or damage to equipment, including submersible pumps, hoses/cables, control panels, and generators, while accurately updating service records. ** Please note this is a mobile role covering the North West of England. The ideal candidate should live between Warrington – Leeds – Carnforth, and we are flexible on the suitable candidate’s location. About You Experience in a pump engineer role with sound and current knowledge of submersible pumps 18th Edition/City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 certifications are highly desirable CompEx trained would be ideal; full training will be provided otherwise Strong attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to work effectively under pressure A customer‑focused approach to workload and committed team player A valid driving licence is essential About Us From one division, GAP Hire Solutions now has 10 divisions offering equipment hire throughout the UK.
