The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension. The client offers a full or part time contract with an opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio.ResponsibilitiesAssessment of service users and carers with complex needs in relation to home environmentProviding expert advice, and assessments for equipment and home modificationsAdaptations, moving and handling assessments and reducing or minimising the need for care packagesAn awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people, plus an understanding of the importance of dignity and respect when dealing with peopleRequirements / To Be SuccessfulPrevious experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the communityComplex equipment experienceManual handling experienceHCPC RegistrationEnhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you)Eligibility to work in the UKOccupational Therapist QualificationBenefitsBenefits of working in Haringey include opportunities for additional training for both permanent and temporary staff within the authority.
