Teaching Assistant – Handford Hall Primary School Key Details Location: Ipswich, Suffolk IP1 2LQ Hours: 28 hours per week (term time only) Contract: Fixed term until 31 August 2026 (starting as soon as possible) Salary: £24,413 – £24,796 pro rata Reference: 8169 About the Role Handford Hall Primary School is looking for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across the curriculum. The role offers a chance to work alongside teaching staff in a supportive and friendly team, in line with the school’s mission of Achieve, Believe and Celebrate. Responsibilities Support pupils individually or in small groups across the curriculum. Plan and deliver small learning interventions. Work collaboratively with teaching staff and contribute to classroom preparation. Use initiative and maintain a positive learning environment. Qualifications Higher Education qualification preferred. Motivated, committed, innovative and flexible. A keen learning mindset and willingness to undertake professional development. Confidence leading groups of pupils in different interventions.
