As a Multi‑Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will provide engineering support across our manufacturing site. You will be working on a bespoke 12‑hour rotating shift pattern, which offers you that much‑needed work/life balance. This department offers excellent progression opportunities with banded pay grades and annual skills assessments, which will see you earn a salary of between £49,695 – £57,177 per annum. Safety Develop, maintain and follow safe working practices (SSW & RA). Action near‑miss reports and incident remedies as assigned, providing feedback on actions. Support safety‑related improvements/initiatives. Ensure documentation is completed meeting site procedures and legislation. Provide coaching across manufacturing operations to adopt a culture of safe working. Follow all site HS&E procedures at all times. Quality Review module health status and ensure remedial actions are taken to support module and system capability. Support Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) – ensure maintenance works are recorded and the workplace is clean and free from obstruction. Delivery Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are used at all times. Maintain plant and associated equipment on site. Utilise the CMMS system to record all work. Provide liaison with shift teams, providing feedback on any significant issues. Manage spare parts appropriately. Monitor equipment condition, identify areas requiring additional PM work and communicate accordingly. Ensure any remedial activity is robust and complete. Cost Support management of maintenance costs. Assist in raising awareness of high‑value parts and ensure repairable parts from the assets are returned in a timely manner for repair. Develop and implement process improvement and cost‑avoidance programmes. Compliance Adhere to the Company's compliance obligations, policies, processes, and procedures. Report compliance concerns, issues, and failures. Participate in training as required. What do you need? Be educated to minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline(s). Have a strong ability to fault‑find and provide rectification to either mechanical or electrical systems. Have exposure to continuous improvement methodologies and ability to analyse data to achieve a desired outcome. Have previous experience in an engineering role within a manufacturing environment. Be experienced in using a CMMS – Pirana would be advantageous. Be a true team player who can work collaboratively or on own initiative in a fast‑paced, challenging environment. Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Be PC‑literate and competent in the use of MS Office suite. Why Choose Tate?
