Fuels & Lubricants Sales Manager – Carrs Billington Agriculture (Sales) Ltd. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Manager to lead, motivate and develop our office‑based fuels sales team, driving exceptional sales and profitability performance across the Fuels and Lubricants business. The role will be Carlisle based. Responsibilities Lead our Fuel and Lubricant sales across Northern England and South West Scotland, ensuring strong performance, customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Achieve agreed sales targets through a proactive approach to leading the office‑based fuels sales team. Develop and implement a strategic sales plan, setting and driving performance objectives to exceed targets. Coach and develop team members to support personal growth and business success, ensuring robust succession planning. Collaborate with senior leaders and maintain strong working relationships, reviewing sales data and taking accountability for profit & loss. Oversee depot stock ordering processes and communicate daily pricing details to relevant teams. Work closely with key stakeholders including Finance, Operations, Supervisors, and Transport to address operational challenges and ensure smooth business operations. Adhere to Company and Group policies and procedures, including but not limited to those relating to Safety, Health & Environment. Ensure all relevant legislation and approved codes of practice are adhered to, in respect of ongoing compliance, including but not limited to UFAS, FIAS & NOPS assurance Schemes. Qualifications & Experience Proven experience in multi‑site management within a sales environment and leading teams. Experience developing sales and marketing plans. Track record of achieving ambitious targets and delivering outstanding customer service. Experience working with financial data and P&L reports. Confident IT user, proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and CRM. Strong leadership, interpersonal, and change management skills. Desired Skills Driving sales through E‑Commerce and digital platforms. Industry knowledge in Fuels and Lubricants. Benefits An attractive salary package. Annual salary reviews in September each year.
