OverviewAs a Mortgage Processor you will provide support to the Mortgage Advisors and customers by accurately assessing new applications against underwriting criteria following appropriate policies and procedures and ensuring that pipelines are appropriately managed and progressed.ResponsibilitiesAccurately process applications from receipt of pack to submission to underwriting completing information on relevant systems and completing relevant fraud prevention checksProvisionally underwrite and package new applications received providing an initial case assessment and requesting any additional information required to progress to underwritingComplete security checks with applicants where required with a focus on fraud avoidance ensuring timely investigation escalation and reporting to minimise the risk to the business and the customerAccurately manage the submission process ensuring all data entry is accurate completed to ensure a smooth transition to underwritingProactively manage a pipeline of cases ensuring that information is proactively requested from customers and third partiesProvide customers and other stakeholders with updates and ensure required information is requested within service levelsQualificationsMortgage processing / administrative experienceCustomer Service experienceAbility to assess and interpret information supplied e.g. bank statementExperience of working in a regulated environmentStrong communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlinesAdditional InformationIf you feel you have some of the skills mentioned above but not all please do still apply and we would be happy to have a further discussion with you in regards to your suitability for the role.Together embraces diversity and inclusion and are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
