Nuclear Engineering Professional Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 per annum (depend on experience). Locations: Bristol, Gloucester Burton, Manchester, Leatherhead or Glasgow. Pattern: Flexible hybrid – office, client sites, remote. Closing date: 31st December 2025. About the role Frazer‑Nash delivers innovative solutions across the nuclear lifecycle. Your work will cover design, safety case authoring, assessments, and defueling/decommissioning support. You will manage full project lifecycle from bid to closure. Key responsibilities Develop strategies for nuclear technical challenges. Produce technical documentation for clients. Apply knowledge across varied nuclear technologies. technical guidance, mentorship and training. Manage projects against time, cost and quality. Seek new business opportunities, generate proposals and bids. Maintain long‑term client relationships. Essential requirements Degree (or equivalent) in science or engineering. Technical knowledge in mechanical, process, electrical, C&I, design, hazards, radiological protection, equipment qualification, or severe accidents. At least 5 years' experience in highly regulated or high hazard industries. Demonstrated success in technical delivery. Strong problem‑solving and collaboration skills. Clear written and verbal communication. Desire to develop nuclear engineering skills. Willingness to travel to client sites. Desirable requirements Engineering management / project engineering capability. Experience of operations, engineering, or safety case development at nuclear sites. Consultancy environment experience. Business development and client relationship skills. Project management experience. Chartered status or working towards it.
