Community Psychiatric Nurse – Older People's Mental Health Join to apply for the Community Psychiatric Nurse – Older People's Mental Health role at NHS Scotland NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is one of the largest healthcare systems in the UK, employing around 40,000 staff across a wide range of clinical and non‑clinical roles. About the Position The post holder will contribute to the care and support of older people affected by mental health and their relatives referred to our service by their GP. The post holder will mainly be involved in the assessment of patients at the memory clinic or assessing patients in their own home. The post holder will undertake duties without direct supervision, working in partnership with patients and relatives, liaising with third sector agencies, line managers and other staff within the Older Peoples Community Mental Health team and wider HSCP. The post holder will manage the memory clinic based at the Belmont Centre on Monday and Tuesday, 9 am to 5 pm. The post holder will engage in regular weekly MDT meetings. The post holder will participate in regular supervision for caseload management and clinical supervision—critical aspects of a Band 5 Community Psychiatric nurse. Requirements Registered with the NMC. Holder of a valid driving licence (home visits may be necessary).
