Are you looking for a part time, term time only role that offers flexibility to coincide with your home life?We have an exciting opportunity for a Band 6SaLT to join our amazing integrated therapy teamfor 22.5 hours per week, term time only. The role involves:ResponsibilitiesSupporting children who attend mainstream schools and specialist resources in Reading and WokinghamPlanning and managing your own school-age caseloadService delivery using an impact-based model of clinical decision makingTravel to several sites with room for some home workingTo function as a specialist autonomous clinician, with a role in supporting delivery of theCYPIT model, development of the CYPF (Children and Young People and Families)model and provide support to other more junior CYPIT therapists and non-professional staff.To provide high quality assessment and interventions for children and young people with developmental / complex needs in area of specialist expertise, using evidence based/person-centered principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.To provide specialist therapy input into clinical services within a designated area/team, contributing to defined projects as requested by Clinical Leads.Our Children and Young People’s Integrated Therapy service is shaped around the needs of the child and family. We are structured within integrated teams (physio, OT, SaLT, integrated therapy assistants and admin) and work closely togetherto ensure we have the greatest therapeutic impact.You’llbepart of our welcoming and collaborative team in West Berkshire, and have the support and direction of a Band 7 therapist. There will also be dedicated time and opportunities to shadow therapists in various settings, attend trainingsessionsand develop your knowledge and skills within the wider school age therapy team.Applications for this role will be reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis.
