With over 65 years of experience and a reputation for delivering award-winning projects, CRL sets the benchmark in our sector.We are now recruiting for a Regional Buyer to develop dependably supply sources and purchase / hire all materials & plant to the Company's business requirements. You will assist with Supply Chain management to ensure a high standard of quality is maintained.As our Regional Buyer you will be specifically responsible for:Act as the main point of contact for all Materials, Plant, and PPE purchasing.Manage procurement through internal databases and software, including raising purchase orders.Source quotes, build supplier relationships, and maintain supplier account records.Coordinate vehicle hire and manage associated logs and insurance.Log, track, and audit tools and plant equipment to ensure servicing, calibration, and correct location.Maintain office and external stores, ensuring all materials and equipment are recorded with necessary compliance documentation.Liaise with Contracts teams to reduce waste and manage resource availability.Maintain Regional PPE and Asset Registers.Support product research and development aligned with environmental and social value goals.Collaborate closely with the Regional Admin & Procurement team to ensure accurate invoicing and reporting.Provide cover and support to other team members when required.Assist HR and Training in onboarding and developing procurement staff.Promote innovation, professionalism, and high standards across all procurement activities.Contribute to health & safety, sustainability, and social value objectives.Qualifications / ExperienceSignificant previous experience as a Buyer, preferably within the construction industry.A-Level / NVQ Level 3, or equivalent qualification.Fully conversant with modern office equipment and Microsoft Office.Strong financial acumen.A full UK Driver's license.Written and verbal reporting / presentation skills.The ability to mentor other team members within the procurement team.Strong organisational and negotiation skills.A keen attention to detail whilst being able to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to be considered for this role, please click on APPLY today and forward us an up to date copy of your CV for consideration in the first instanceWe're committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace.
