Our vision is changing lives through education.About the RoleWe are seeking a Professor in Accounting & Finance to teach across undergraduate levels as part of the BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Due to our delivery model, flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required.What You’ll Be DoingAs a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance at Global Banking School, you will deliver management related modules, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment of students and keep up to date with latest developments.ResponsibilitiesPlanning, delivering and assessing student work ensuring learning outcomes are metDeveloping, updating and improving course materialsUsing a variety of learning and teaching methods/materialsActively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and administrative dutiesKeeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practicesWorking towards clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progressionQualificationsMaster's degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable)Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject areaExtensive knowledge of relevant subject matterExperience supervising student work and providing support and feedbackAccurate reporting and maintaining thorough student recordsAbility to work under pressure, plan and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlinesExcellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skillsAbility to work with diverse groups of peopleDesirablePostgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years or Fellowship of HEA or international equivalentExperience of design/development of academic or professional education programmes or equivalentSalary£55,000 #J-18808-Ljbffr
