Role Details Annual Salary: £55,000 Location: Ashford Job Type: Full-time, Night Shifts Job Summary We are seeking a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team in Ashford. This role is ideal for a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment, ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance tasks across various departments. Day-to-day of the Role Conduct routine maintenance and testing on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation. Respond to equipment faults and breakdowns, diagnosing issues quickly and efficiently. Carry out repairs and ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and safety. Implement continuous improvement strategies to enhance machinery performance and reliability. Work closely with other team members to troubleshoot complex problems. Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, spare parts inventory, and machinery performance. Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications Proven experience as a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment. Strong mechanical and electrical skills, with qualifications in Engineering (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills and the ability to work under pressure. Knowledge of health and safety practices and regulations.
