Role Overview We are seeking a Lead Field Service Engineer to oversee installation, maintenance, and repair of Rapiscan products across the UK and EMEA. In addition to hands‑on technical work, you will manage a regional team of 5–10 Field Service Engineers, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. The role will be covering the Heathrow area and South Regions on occasions. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate a regional team of Field Service Engineers in daily service activities. Manage administrative tasks including stock control, preventive maintenance schedules, and shift rotas. Act as the primary point of contact for customer liaison and issue resolution. Communicate service updates and documentation effectively to the team via meetings, calls, and emails. Conduct annual performance reviews and support continuous professional development. Maintain accurate training records and ensure timely re‑certifications. Collaborate with senior management on initiatives and report achievements and concerns. Promote a culture of safety and compliance, including risk assessments. Qualifications Strong technical background with leadership aspirations – training and mentoring provided. Excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills. Previous experience in a customer‑facing role. Solid electronics and computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office proficiency. Extensive experience supporting field‑based teams servicing high‑tech security systems. Recognised engineering qualifications (BTEC, City & Guilds HNC or equivalent).
