About the Role CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. As a CBRE BUL/BUD you will assist with the oversight of the Business Unit responsible for completing strategic objectives across multiple portfolios. This job is part of the Contract Quality Management job function. You are responsible for overseeing the strategic leadership across the business unit, driving rapid sustainable growth, ensuring statutory compliance and governance, managing and developing staff (operational, sales, contract support and management), continually developing our customer base, and holding full operational responsibility for the business unit. What You'll Do Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees. Set and track staff and department deadlines, mentor and coach as needed. Ensure the team has the skills and motivation to carry out their roles to the best of their abilities, including attending the Company induction day and mandatory relevant training. Be constantly visible and accessible to the team. Ensure all performance reviews are conducted on time and managers are formally trained in the CBRE performance review process, with development plans put in place and followed through. Clarify scorecard targets, objectives, continual achievement and overall performance for team members. Train, develop, induct and mentor direct reports, fostering a culture of continual development. Build a robust succession plan for the Business Unit, using management development programmes and local development activities to ensure ready and able candidates are available at all times. Encourage a culture of cooperation and teamwork within the Business Unit, recognizing and rewarding achievements, supporting the Exceptional Awards and social activities. Focus on developing the business through building customer relationships, ensuring resources are prepared to manage growth with a robust succession plan. Identify tracks and influence key KPI and financial performance metrics to deliver required performance levels. Prepare and deliver BU reviews that ensure no surprises, no untruths, and sufficient challenge of presented data. Formulate business and sales/growth plans in response to anticipated economic, technological, and market trends. Identify new business opportunities through building customer relationships. Lead tender bid activity including sales and operational resourcing, sign-offs, document and commercial reviews, and presentation standards. Provide market review and asset positioning consultation for clients; assist in acquisition underwriting and due diligence. Develop policies and procedures to ensure client contract specifications are fulfilled. Review key KPI and financial performance metrics to ensure required performance levels are met; present to executive management. Ensure robust contract/project reviews are led by AGM’s/AD’s/HOP’s with check and challenge of detail, used as coaching and development opportunities. Supervise the planning, budgeting, and control of operating and capital expenditures. Support preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, management plans, monthly performance, and variance reports. Develop new business opportunities from client identification and solicitation, proposal development, and presentation. Apply robust knowledge of multiple disciplines, the business, and key drivers impacting departmental and cross-functional performance. Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values; persuade managers and colleagues to take action, negotiate with external partners, vendors, and customers to reach common goals. Identify and solve multi-dimensional, complex operational and organizational problems using appropriate resources. Significantly improve and change existing methods, processes, and standards within job discipline. Monitor and identify areas for improvement as a matter of course. Create a culture of exceptional quality and innovation. Ensure processes are in place and compliant, including but not limited to line management auditing, HOP auditing, BU QHSE objective setting and tracking, Dynamic RA, H&S scenario training, and RIDDOR investigations. What You'll Need Qualification & Education requirement in line with local jurisdiction. Growth mindset. Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred. Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle problems. Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments’ results within a function. History of achieving results/targets and growing business. In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook etc.). Expert organizational skills and advanced inquisitive mindset.
