Reference: AVBC000000223 Description: Contract 1 year fixed-term with option to extend subject to funding Directorate: Operations Location: Central Headquarters, Ripley, Derbyshire Contractual Hours: 22.5 per week Salary: Grade 4 – GBP 26,824 to 28,598 pro-rata per year Role Overview The Community Safety Team is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable officer familiar with services carried out within community safety, including antisocial behaviour, domestic abuse, safeguarding and asylum dispersal. The role requires excellent customer care, strong communication skills, and experience delivering public-facing services in challenging situations. The successful candidate will build productive relationships with internal and external teams to meet the unit's demands. Key Responsibilities • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal teams and external organisations. • Deliver public-facing community safety services in demanding environments. • Use telephone systems and maintain high keyboard accuracy for data input. • Access, input, and extract data from various systems efficiently. • Contribute effectively as a member of a busy team. Essential Qualifications • Excellent customer care and communication skills. • Experience delivering public-facing services. • Competency in telephone systems and proficient keyboard skills. • Ability to input and extract data from multiple systems. • Ability to work effectively in challenging situations.
