Duties as Maths Teacher: Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons that meet the needs of all learners Assess, record, and report on pupil progress in line with school policies Create a positive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes learning Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning space Collaborate with colleagues to develop resources and share best practice Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and contribute to departmental planning Ideal Maths Teacher: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics across Key Stages Ability to inspire and motivate pupils to achieve their full potential Excellent classroom management and organisational skills Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children Previous experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting is desirable Your salary - dependent on experience - is paid weekly through PAYE – that means no self-employed or umbrella companies.
