Our Senior Care Assistants play a key role in ensuring each person living within our homes receives the care they need to live a fulfilling life. Rates of Pay: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care: £13.80 per hour Working Hours: Flexi Days and Nights - 33 hours per week Introduction to the Role: Orchard Care Homes is committed to delivering high-quality, personalized care. Our focus includes appropriate medication management and providing meaningful activities for residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will assess individual needs, develop person-centered care plans, and ensure medical, physical, and emotional needs are met. Additional training is provided to ensure competency in medication administration. Applicants should have previous care experience, preferably in Older People’s or dementia care, and hold a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care. Main Duties: Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate personalized nursing care to meet individual needs and standards. Ensure residents are treated with respect and dignity, respecting their rights to privacy, independence, and choice. Lead, supervise, support, and develop the care team. Maintain excellent communication with external professionals, residents, and relatives.
