Porter/Driver - Band 2 Permanent 37.5 hrs per week About the Trust Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust serves a community of 250,000 people across Tameside & Glossop. Key Responsibilities Provide high standards of portering in all areas throughout the hospital, following appropriate procedures. Handle equipment responsibly, within health and safety guidelines. Maintain patient, staff, and public safety whilst undertaking duties. Work on their own or as part of a team to deliver services as directed by policies and procedures monitored by the Portering Supervisor. Demonstrate a friendly and helpful manner and a sensitive approach when dealing with patients and their families. Visa Sponsorship Eligibility Please note that while the trust does offer sponsorship this role is unfortunately not eligible for visa sponsorship under the UK Health and Care Worker visa route. This is due to the position not meeting the minimum salary threshold of £25,000 per annum and/or the required skill level set by UK Visas and Immigration.
