Operations Supervisor - Project Manager Country Dreams Radio & Gaming About The Role We are currently seeking an Operations Supervisor to join our team in Andover within our Highways Division. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the efficient and safe operations of our field-based HGV Engineers and Operatives who carry out cleaning, surveys and some repairs work. Location Andover Hours 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 6am-4pm. Salary £38,000-£44,000 per annum Key Responsibilities Assist with planning and coordinating the activities of the engineering team to ensure tasks are completed on time and to the required standard. Act as the first point of contact for the operatives and support them with problem solving for any drainage related issues. Customer/Client interaction – provide timescales and be a contact to answer any questions or queries they may have. Perform Health & Safety audits on-site and ensure compliance with safety protocols. Ensure the team has the necessary equipment, information, and resources to complete work efficiently and safely. Assist in managing the company’s vehicles and plant within the depot, ensuring they are properly calibrated, serviced, and maintained. Maintain the fleet and equipment in a condition that reflects the company’s professional image and commitment to Health & Safety. Oversee the efficient scheduling of work to maximise productivity and asset usage. About You Previous experience in drainage or utilities is preferred, but not essential. Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team of field-based engineers. A full UK driving licence is required. Ability to schedule and prioritise tasks effectively to optimise workflow and asset usage. Experience People management and leadership skills. Customer service skills. Team working. Planning, programming & invoicing. Reasonable IT skills. Good multitasker.
