The successful candidate will take full responsibility for on-site operations, driving performance, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer value within a matrix-led structure.As Plant Manager, you will provide leadership and operational oversight for the site. You will be responsible for setting and executing strategic goals, ensuring efficient operations, and promoting a culture of high performance across all departments.Responsibilities of the Plant Manager will include:Lead and inspire cross-functional teamsDevelop and execute a progressive, forward-thinking site strategy aligned with wider business goalsDrive operational excellence through world-class manufacturing practices and continuous improvement (CI).Champion lean manufacturing and embed a mindset of operational efficiency at all levels.Implement and enhance Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality.Work closely with Commercial, Technical, and Product Development teams to support innovation and growthLeverage technology to future-proof operations and boost productivityWe are keen to speak with Plant Managers / senior operations leaders with:Degree-level qualification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related fieldProven experience in a senior site leadership role within a complex manufacturing environmentIdeally from a CNC machining backgroundA strong background in lean/CI methodologies and world-class manufacturingA track record of delivering successful operational transformationsStrong commercial and financial awarenessStrategic mindset with a practical, hands-on leadership styleExcellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levelsThis is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to a forward-thinking engineering organisation.
