Role Overview: The Assistant Worship Director plays a vital role in supporting the mission and vision of Hope Church, working closely with the worship team to plan and lead Christ-centered, spiritually engaging worship services.Sharing the hope of Jesus with a world in need of hope.Our Vision:To see an ever-increasing number of people trust in Jesus Christ and faithfully live out the 5G’s of discipleship.Responsibilities:Support the overall mission, vision, and values of Hope Church.Collaborate with the Worship Leadership Team to plan and implement impactful worship services.Be intentional with song selection, keeping in mind the sermon theme and spiritual focus of each service.Lead rehearsals with musicians, vocalists, and tech team.Lead engaging, Christ-centered worship while ensuring high-quality musical excellence.Arrange music to suit the skill level of the team while maintaining musical and theological integrity.Provide spiritual leadership to worship team members while modeling a consistent and authentic personal faith walk.Pray regularly for guidance and discernment in planning worship services and serving the needs of the congregation.Help create a warm and welcoming church atmosphere that encourages congregational worship participation.Requirements:Strong personal faith in Jesus Christ and a desire to minister through worship.Proficient in piano, guitar or another instrument that allows for effective worship leading.Self-motivated with a strong work ethic who is able to work independently and as part of a team.Excellent organizational and time management skills; attention to detail and follow-through.Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.A heart for discipleship and the ability to mentor and multiply leadership in others.Part-time (non-exempt)Competitive hourly rate compensationPaid time off including vacation, sick, wellness, and holiday time #J-18808-Ljbffr
