Join to apply for the Electrician role at TipTopJob.Job Advert: Static ElectricianLocation: Fareham (Commercial Property)Salary: Up to GBP38,000 per annumHours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pmWe are seeking a skilled and dedicated Static Electrician to join our facilities management team, based permanently at a large commercial property in Fareham.In this role, you will be the on‑site expert for all electrical maintenance, responsible for ensuring the building’s electrical systems are safe, compliant, and fully operational. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrician who enjoys working in a stable, professional environment and taking ownership of their work.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on all electrical systems, including lighting, power, emergency lighting, and fire alarm systems.Respond promptly to reactive maintenance, diagnose issues and perform effective repairs.Carry out minor electrical installations and project work as required.Perform fixed‑wire testing and inspections (where qualified) and complete necessary remedial works.Ensure all work is conducted in line with current health and safety standards and BS 7671 (18th Edition) regulations.Maintain accurate records of all maintenance tasks, reports, and compliance documentation.Collaborate with the wider on‑site maintenance team to deliver seamless service.Essential QualificationsFully qualified electrician (e.g., NVQ Level 3, City and Guilds 2365, or equivalent).18th Edition (BS 7671) certification.Experience in a commercial or building services maintenance environment.Strong understanding of PPM schedules and reactive maintenance.Excellent fault‑finding and problem‑solving skills.Professional attitude with good communication skills.Desirable QualificationsCity and Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) for Inspection and Testing.Experience with building management systems (BMS).Valid ECS card.What We OfferCompetitive Salary: Up to GBP38,000, dependent on experience.Stable Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm working week.Generous Holiday: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.Pension scheme and access to overtime opportunities.Career Growth: Commitment to professional development and further training.Randstad CPE values diversity and promotes equality.
