Reeson Education are recruiting for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a large, welcoming primary school in the M20 area of Manchester. This is a fantastic full-time, long-term opportunity for a Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting on a 1:1 basis in KS2.

The school is a vibrant, diverse community where children come from all walks of life, and no two days are the same. The role of this SEN Teaching Assistant will involve providing 1:1 support to a child in year 5. You will work closely with teachers and senior leaders to ensure the child receives the tailored support they need to thrive.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support the teacher with daily classroom activities across KS2 when required

Provide 1:1 to a child with SEND as your main role and duties

Encourage engagement, confidence and independence in learning

Adapt to varying needs and abilities in a busy, dynamic environment

Work as part of a supportive team who are committed to pupil progress

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is:

Experienced in supporting children in primary education (KS1 experience desirable)and SEND Experience would be desirable

Confident supporting SEN pupils with a range of needs

Reliable, enthusiastic, and adaptable

Ready to make a real impact in a diverse primary setting

Details:

Hours: 8:30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday (30-minute lunch)

Pay: £13.69 - £15.87 per hour, paid weekly
