Sports Coach SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary School in Walkden We are looking for an energetic, committed and adaptable Sports Coach SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Walkden. This is a hybrid role, offering the perfect blend of delivering engaging sports sessions and providing 1:1 SEN support. The Role Deliver high-quality sports coaching sessions to groups of primary pupils, promoting teamwork, fitness and positive attitudes. Work 1:1 with a child who is currently working behind age-related expectations, providing tailored support, encouragement, and interventions to help them progress. Support class teachers and follow the child's needs closely to ensure consistent and nurturing care. Bring enthusiasm, resilience and a calm, supportive approach to every day. We're Looking For A background in sports coaching, youth work or PE. Experience working with children with SEN or a willingness to learn. Someone patient, proactive and positive, who enjoys making a difference. A reliable team player who can adapt to the needs of the school day.
