Dimensions Inspector – Aerospace Manufacturing

About the Role

* Inspect complex aerospace components to verify tight tolerances.

* Read and interpret detailed engineering drawings with confidence.

* Use a wide range of measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, verniers, height gauges, Faro Arms, and CMMs (training available for CMM if needed).

* Collaborate with production and quality teams to quickly identify and resolve any issues.

* Ensure every part leaving the workshop meets exacting aerospace standards.

Inspection Tools You’ll Use

* Micrometers, calipers, verniers, height gauges

* Faro Arm & Keyence image measurement systems

* Portable and fixed CMMs (video and probe)

What We’re Looking For

* Exceptional ability to read and interpret engineering drawings – essential.

* Hands-on experience with a range of manual metrology techniques.

* Previous experience in dimensional inspection, quality inspection, or manufacturing.

* Strong attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and collaborative approach.

* Willingness to learn and use advanced inspection tools (CMM training available).
