Hybrid working arrangement – 3 days in office per week. Working hours: full‑time, 37 hours per week between 8:00 am – 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday. About the Role We have two exciting opportunities for Forecast & Planning Specialists to join the Performance & Planning team at Yorkshire Water. As a Forecast & Planning Specialist, your role will ensure that the Customer Management Centre has the correct resource allocation based on accurate forecasting and planning. Your responsibilities include balancing staffing availability, prioritising business KPIs, scheduling, and recommending areas of improvement. Responsibilities Develop close working relationships across the Customer Management Centre to enable accuracy when forecasting. Manage variance to plan and highlight key risks, ensuring communication to key stakeholders such as Team Managers, Team Leaders, and Senior Leaders. Manage allocation of Annual Leave and Bank Holiday Leave, maintaining accurate records. Ensure operational rota’s are accurate and up to date. Balance staffing availability and prioritise business KPI’s when scheduling. Recommend improvements and drive efficiencies. Qualifications and Skills Proven analytical skills – able to interpret complex data and translate insights into clear, actionable decisions. Experience in a busy, fast‑paced environment with strong organisational skills and the ability to adapt quickly. Confidence in planning and managing workload effectively. Experience with workforce management systems such as Alvaria/Aspect (training provided if required). Clear and confident communicator who can build relationships, influence stakeholders, and promote a positive culture. Proactive in seeking opportunities to improve processes and drive efficiencies, with the ability to manage initiatives from start to finish. Solid IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office tools.
