Customer Service Consultant - Glasgow, 2 Buchanan StreetHSBC is looking for a Customer Service Consultant to provide outstanding service, educate customers on digital platforms, raise fraud awareness, and support vulnerable customers.ResponsibilitiesAct as the first point of contact for customers, taking ownership of their individual needs and delivering an exceptional customer experience.Provide customer education around HSBC digital services and fraud awareness.Identify customers in vulnerable situations and determine how we can support them.Help customers with more complex banking needs to ensure they feel supported in their choices.RequirementsExcellent communication skills and the ability to engage in effective conversations, build strong connections and show empathy.Strong ownership of customer enquiries through to resolution, delivering a personalised, friendly and efficient service that exceeds expectations.Resilience to a continuously changing environment.Previous customer service experience is helpful but not essential – we are looking for a genuine passion for going above and beyond for customers.Working ConditionsFull‑time, 35 hours per week. Working hours Monday‑Friday 09:00‑17:00 and Saturday 09:00‑13:30 (not all branches open Saturday). You may be asked to support other local branches within reason. The role requires 35 hours per week; student visa holders unable to work that many hours will not be considered.TrainingFull in‑branch training over 9 days across 3 weeks.
