Role Overview Content Engine Studios Ltd. is an award‑winning branded video production agency, primarily creating content for Shell. With decades of global experience, we specialise in every aspect of the creative and production process. We deliver story‑driven, cost‑effective video from 6‑second social media clips to full‑length documentaries. Our small but vital Post team supports every video asset we make, operating offline Premiere suites in‑house and remotely; a cost‑effective online and grading service; and managing IT, edit support, infrastructure and our camera kit room. Responsibilities Provide colour grading and online services that we can charge for. Liaise and coordinate with our in‑house and freelance editors. Look after the day‑to‑day operations of the entire technical back‑end. Ensure our technical systems can continuously meet project and client requirements. Administer network, server and workstation infrastructure for on‑prem and virtual edit suites. Manage SaaS licences, support contracts and new equipment deployments. Provide 1st and 2nd line tech support for on‑prem and remote users of the facilities. Administer the MAM pipeline – ingest, transcode, backup, review, delivery. Deploy remote capture, directing and editing solutions. Oversee stock control and maintenance of camera and lighting kit in the in‑house kit room. Conduct proactive research and implementation of new and better media production workflows. Manage and mentor the Technical Assistant and Junior Editor. Candidate Profile The right candidate will have a comprehensive knowledge of IT infrastructure, post‑production processes and an understanding of colour grading and onlineing with the scope to grow these capabilities. Technical Skills In‑depth knowledge of modern media post‑production workflows and software. Experience editing in Premiere Pro and After Effects. Experience working with a wide variety of digital video content for platforms such as YouTube, LinkedIn and Instagram. Network storage administration. Solid understanding of basic computer networking. Solid understanding of S3‑compliant object storage. Experience in deploying and managing servers and workstations. Experience with high‑performance remote desktop solutions. In‑depth knowledge of media broadcast and web delivery standards. In‑depth knowledge of major professional camera brands and their operation. Ability to provide end‑user tech support for workstations and camera equipment. Desirable Additional Skills Experience in live‑stream production, video switching, audio mixing. Linux server management via terminal. Experience with SAML and LDAP authentication deployment.
