As the Principal Enterprise Architect, you will lead architectural decisions, shape roadmaps, and drive modernization through established standards. Collaborating with business and technology leaders, you’ll translate requirements into solutions while balancing strategic oversight with hands‑on involvement. Candidates with a strong Solution Architecture background transitioning to Enterprise Architecture are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Define and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring innovative, actionable plans that align with project goals and ROI objectives Establish technical standards, patterns, and governance models to ensure secure, scalable solutions. Guide technology selection and design frameworks to meet business and IT needs Develop high‑level architecture strategies, advising implementation teams on standards, components, and patterns Support programmes and projects, ensuring solution designs align with architectural roadmaps and optimize delivery Translate business requirements into scalable solutions, advising on performance, scalability, and operational concerns Collaborate with Solution Architects to ensure consistency, quality, and knowledge sharing Drive adoption of best practices and standardize outputs through governance processes (e.g., Architecture Review Board) Document architectural artefacts and support system integration Manage third‑party engagements, including RFI/RFP processes Contribute to short/medium/long‑term Enterprise Architecture strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives Requirements / Skills Strong Solution or Enterprise Architecture, with senior stakeholder engagement, business administration, and financial awareness. Skilled in aligning requirements with strategic goals Expertise in integrating Cloud/SaaS, APIs, and legacy systems, with a focus on digital, cloud, and API‑driven capabilities Proven experience evaluating and selecting technologies, including managing proof of concepts to validate solutions Experience in multi‑cloud, multi‑vendor environments Strong communication skills, able to convey technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences Leadership experience, including team management, coaching, and mentoring Degree‑qualified or equivalent professional experience, with a focus on cloud‑based architectures Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) is a plus Knowledge of operational efficiency improvements through automation and process redesign is advantageous Experience in IT cost optimization and enterprise application rationalization is desirable Understanding of build, deployment, change, and release processes, including automation, is beneficial #J-18808-Ljbffr
