The Application Form and the EQ Form are also available for download.Additional InformationYour starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part‑time or term‑time only.ResponsibilitiesProvide strong financial management, budgeting, reporting, forecasting, and control for the Conservators of Ashdown Forest.Provide professional guidance and support to the CEO, Board of Conservators, and budget holders while managing the Conservators' daily finances.Assist the CEO to ensure the organisation's long‑term financial security, including supporting cost analysis and developing and modernising financial systems.Conduct cost analyses, develop financial systems, facilitate additional funding opportunities, and ensure successful completion of projects, claims, and activities.Support the part‑time Finance Office Support Administrator.Manage day‑to‑day finances of The Ashdown Forest Foundation, an independent charity that supports the Conservators of Ashdown Forest.About the ForestAshdown Forest is one of the largest public access spaces in the South East. Since 1988 it has been owned by a charitable trust overseen by East Sussex County Council and managed by the Board of Conservators of Ashdown Forest. The Board has operated under a series of Acts of Parliament, most recently the Ashdown Forest Act 1974.
