Your role We are seeking a Digital Automation Engineer to design and implement cutting‑edge automation solutions that integrate software systems across IT/OT environments. This role focuses on optimizing operations and research workflows through cloud infrastructure, data pipelines, and intelligent connectivity between lab instruments and enterprise systems. Key Responsibilities Design and deploy automation software for laboratory instruments, robotics, and end‑to‑end workflows. Integrate IT and OT systems to ensure seamless communication between lab equipment and enterprise networks. Build and maintain cloud‑based data pipelines for efficient data ingestion, processing, and storage. Develop APIs and middleware to enable instrument connectivity and secure data exchange. Implement Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions for real‑time monitoring and control of lab equipment. Ensure data integrity, security, and regulatory compliance across hybrid cloud environments. Your Profile Lab Automation: Python, LabVIEW, SCPI, Modbus, OPC‑UA IT/OT Integration: Industrial protocols, edge computing, network architecture Cloud Engineering: AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker, Kubernetes; serverless architectures Data Engineering: ETL pipelines, data lakes, Kafka, Airflow, SQL/NoSQL databases DevOps: CI/CD, infrastructure as code, Git version control If you're excited about this role but don't meet every requirement, we still encourage you to apply, your unique experience could be just what we need.
